There are high-voltage components inside the machine. If you are looking inside the machine to clear paper jams etc. , do not allow metal objects such as jewelry to come into contact with the inside of the machine. Contact may result in burns or electrical shock. Others When setting the machine near electric products with fluorescent lighting, separate the machine at least 5. 9 inches (15 cm) from electric products equipped with fluorescent lighting. If you place it near to them, the machine may malfunction as a result of the noise emitted by the fluorescent lighting. When turning OFF the power, be sure to press [ON/OFF] and confirm that the Alarm Lamp has shut off. If you pull the power plug out of the wall outlet while the Alarm Lamp is on, the FINE Cartridge is not protected, and you may not be able to print later. Caution Location You may cause injury or damage the machine if you ignore any of these safety precautions. Do not block or cover the ventilation port or any openings on the machine with objects, as it may cause the inside of machine to overheat and cause a fire. Place the machine on a flat, stable, vibration-free surface that is strong enough to support its weight. If the machine topples over, it may result in injury. (For the weight of the machine, see "Appendix" on page 108. Do not use or store the machine outdoors. Do not install the machine near devices that contain magnets or generate magnetic fields, such as speakers. To ensure proper ventilation, make sure the machine is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) away from walls and other equipment. Do not install the machine in a location that is very humid or dusty, in direct sunlight, outdoors, or close to a heating source. Installing in such a location may result in fire or electrical shock...

 great value, use the printer in my vehicle for work. works well. Seems easy to use. just checking how to scan. , easy to use. i like it., pixma mp160 is a highly efficeent and easy to use product.. When it works its a good printer but when it fails its difficukt to get going, the best thing since food. I currently do not have one, as i have inherited this piece of equipment with no manual., just can't figure out to scan. you think you could just click the "scan" button., good printer, good printer.

 don't know , very useful and fun to use for any project.. Great printer for the money, quality printer, nice and reliable. Great printer, an easy to use printer with good quality photo's. I have had this product a long time and its a great scanner and printer. i don't print photos on this machine, i dont even know how to work this thing , like it, it was free. got what i paid for..

 i got it for free with a computer - i would not have bought it outright because i need a heavier duty one but it's fine., this is a very user friendly printer.. Good machine...a little problem setting up alignment, good machine, just remember to keep the manual in a good place!!, ease of use and reliability is very good. Easy to use, user friendly, reliable, i need a user manual as it isn't printing properly?. Lost instruction manual unable to figure out, bought it used about 2 years ago and heven't had one bit of trouble, great tool, dont know i need instruction manuel to get going.

 dont know must get it to work, paper outlet could be be better. Makes a lot of noise , yes it is ok, how to connect canon pixma mp160 to the computer? . Printing is very easy to do fast and reliable cant,t get it to scan, not bad.. Gfreat printet, very good printer and great functions
